And you make fun of Mediatraffic as a source.

Madonna fares very well on greatest features (herself, as well as her music), so she certainly is deserving of her status. She's placed well on artist/entertainer lists from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, VH1, Variety, Q, Spin, and more- it's kinda universal.
For the 154th time,. Celine Dion is not an acclaimed act, so her lack of appearance is not that surprising- Mimi Carey isn't much more acclaimed than Dion, and she appears at No. 94.

^How is Celine Dion NOT an acclaimed act, she is virtually EXACTLY the same as Whitney Houston..neither one writes or produces the majority of their stuff, they are known for their voices and putting on a good show.
Not to metnion, Celine can actually STILL sing every song in her catalog without struggle... hitting all the same notes she hit 10 or 15 years ago. And with a 5 octave range, and two Oscars to her name...she seems like a pretty good candidate to me.

It's just something that goes unspoken, he is right about Celine. Whitney was unparalleled in her prime and that is a huge factor. Celine never had the "it factor" like Whitney and Mariah had, she sold albums and had a good voice and that was it. She wasn't interesting, she wasn't iconic, she wasn't legendary, she wasn't a diva and etc... And I know you're about to say what does that have to do with this list, these things probably came into question because an artist must be the complete package and Celine just isn't it.

Celine isn't interesting? Maybe to a racist. But what? She is the only diva that can fill all seats of stadiums whether in Las Vegas or elsewhere. Yes, she's a diva. Who would've thought that she isn't? She is the only pop diva that sounds good in live as in studio. She's the only one that can bring the best of both worlds to the table, for the francophone and the anglophone. Her voice is operatic, able to sing from lullaby songs to gospel to opera pieces; and pop at the same time. No one does it better than Celine in those areas. And to be the best-selling francophone artist of all time, second best-selling female anglophone artist, having one of the best-selling female greatest hits and holiday albums of all time, she must be interesting to many.

Yes, Celine is indeed interesting, but that "racist" comment is unnecessary. ![shake no](images/smilies/images/smilies/shakeno.gif)

Here in America we don't feel the same way and obviously Rolling Stone and VH1 don't either.
