I can't believe a few months ago I used to strongly dislike this chick and now I'm slowly becoming a fan. She is so ****ing EPIC! I love her lyricism, flow, delivery, style and energy. This chick cannot be duplicated at ALL. This bish better blow up in the USA.
I got my LIFE with watching these performances:
She's so ****ing epic. Continue to hold it down for female rap Ms. Banks!!!!
Random but, I was about to post this in response to the thread about her shooting the luxury video and ended up rambling on and on about her, so I figured it'd be better to post it here instead:
I really love Luxury so I'm glad it's getting a video. I'm sure it will be a hot, too.
The label does seem to have a lot of faith in her and the access she has already is quite impressive; the magazine covers and features, high profile music publications outright stanning, the fashion world loves her, the MAC deal, and so on, all before she's even got an album. Her momentum so far seems great, with a high profile introduction to the (general) US music market, I think she has potential to be huge. And there seem to be a lot of people determined to see her successful which is great, too.
Anyway, I am really excited for her and it would be dope if she could launch another major urban house wave here in the US like there was in the '90s. The house music blends so much more organically with R&B/hip hop than the dance-pop. I love how she had the vision to take that while everyone is doing the dance-pop and using it to create a real niche for herself.

I agree with everything you said. I'm excited for her future and I feel like if anyone can get this sound moving right now it's Azealia. She's already converted a lot of naysayers. People who didn't get her or just downright hated her adore her now (Kid Fury). It's all in her music. It's really hard to NOT bop.
