No Clive, the failure of Echo couldn't possibly be because of the label's complete incompetence (killing all US promo after 1 single).. it was because of Leona's co-writing.

I can't believe Clive Davis had the nerve to blame Leona co-writing on the chart performance of Echo.I hope Leona does not see this. This is like Kelly Clarkson 'My December' all over again.

I love Echo too, but for Clive Davis blame its chart performance wholly on Leona is very cheeky. The fact of the matter is that her US label never really supported Echo.
I was trying to do some working out about when this single will be released in the Uk.
Presuming that Leona will release her single a week before the album ( 19th March). Then she may be in for a chart battle with Alexandra Burke Elephant (if she goes no1) which is released on the 11th March.
I was wondering whether Syco may push back the single because of this.
