I'm not the biggest fan of R&B, it's just not my cup of tea. However, this song is pure fire, pun intended, one of those songs you just want to whisper to someone's ear. Alicia shows us a very sexy side of her in the video while keeping it all the way classy like she's always been.

Emmelie DeForest
"Only Teardrops"

Last year it was Loreen, now it's Emmelie DeForest. There's always something special to expect from the Eurovision contest. This song is so sweet and I'm in love with that instrument playing at the beginning and in the background, I'd love to learn how to play it.

Bon Jovi
"Because We Can"

One day, I promise you, one day I'm gonna listen to the entire discography of this legendary band. They're like 30 years into their career and still making amazing songs like this, it's just remarkable. This is one of those songs that makes you just turn up the radio and start to sing along.

Pearl Jam
"Sirens"

Probably one of the biggest surprises of the year for me. I didn't see this song coming at all. It reminds me of the glory days when rock power ballads like this used to be so anthemic. I'm not very familiar with Pearl Jam's discography but I'm definitely gonna be checking.

Avril Lavigne feat. Chad Kroeger
"Let Me Go"

It's a shame what Avril's career has become now. This song has finally showed us a more mature side of her we hadn't seen since the Under My Skin era. The result is a very emotional ballad, probably a little sappy but filled with emotion indeed. I hope it's not the end of this era.

Ed Sheeran
"You Need Me, I Don't Need You"

This alternative hip-hop poem is one of Ed Sheeran's signature songs and probably one of his personal favorites. It is, however, one of my least liked singles of his. The positive side is that he just keeps proving he is a very talented and versatile song writer.

Fall Out Boy feat. Foxes
"Just One Yesterday"

Had this song been released earlier it would have ended up in the top 20. It's definitely my favorite song from FOB's new album. The music videos have been getting weirder and weirder but I'm loving the idea of releasing a concept album.

Céline Dion
"Le Miracle"

It's always a pleasure to listen to Céline Dion. This year I managed to listen to her newest French studio album and I loved it. This song was my favorite and I'm glad it was released as a single. I know most of you are not familiar with it but I strongly recommend it.

Drake feat. Majid Jordan
"Hold On We're Going Home"

This is not the first time I've liked a Drake song but it's the first time I've liked it this much. It's probably the first time in years he doesn't sound like an autotuned pretentious douchebag to be honest. I love the lyrics and the rhythm.
