I'm just saying that my one sentence about Islam and one sentence about the victims doesn't mean I don't care about them. And I'm saying that the majority of the posts recently have had nothing to do with the victims either.

No, I'm talking about the ones that are violently attacked for "appearing" Muslim. Many victims aren't even Muslim themselves, which shows that the religion has become racialized. It's a shame that you don't see the aggression and hatred behind hijab pulling, but that's just your internalized misogyny. More blatant examples of violent hate crimes towards Muslims include being lit on fire, being pushed down flights of stairs for no reason, among other things. There's a website that keeps track of all of the reported hate crimes, but I can't remember the URL. I'll link it here if I remember it, though.

Did you all forget that Buddha married a 6 year old girl and had sex with her when she was 9? Did you all forget that he ordered to kill LGBT and people who leave Buddhism, so they are still slaughtered in Buddhist majority countries? Didn't Jesus say that christians have to wage offensive warfare against muslims and jews until they convert to christianity or accept to pay a humiliation tax called Jizzya?Well unless they're weaker than muslims and jews in which case christians have to pretend to be peaceful until they become majority and get the upper hand in which case they're obliged to wage offensive warfare again? Didn't Jesus call black people "raisin heads"? Didn't Buddha have black slaves? Didn't Joseph Smith say women were mentally deficient?
Meanwhile Islam says "... there is no compulsion in religion" (surah 2:256). Islam keeps winning

You could also look at the laws in countries where Christianity/Islam aren't the majority religions, and see that they have homophobic laws in place too. Your "non-partisan" website doesn't tell us anything we don't already know about Islam. And besides, I'm defending Muslims, not Islam. All religions have ideological problems that don't match up to the 21st century.

You can't do that if you're a true muslim. Islam means submission. You have to fully submit to Allah and his messenger. Allah's teachings are in the Quran, Mohammad's teachings are in the Hadeeth.

This is just awful. I don't know what to say. I feel for the victims. I don't even wanna read the comments in here. The usual suspects on here couldn't probably run fast enough to enter this thread.
I hope that the police will give us all the information we need asap. This terrorist attack is just horrible.
