Her music speaks for itself - that's what heard.

The fact that she's selective about how she communicates with the public (limited interviews and tweets) is good for her brand and public image. It's her choice. I can understand why fans would upset if she's communicating less (it's nice to hear from your fave) but this is pretty much a nonissue for everyone else.

She's dumb as a bag of bones, and she knows it. Beyoncé reminds me of Forrest Gump. At the end, when Forrest says to Jenny, "Is he smart? Or is he... like me?" That's Beyoncé. Knowing that you're stupid gives you a higher form of enlightenment, especially moreso than those who are stupid and aren't self-aware to realize it, i.e. Lady Gaga. Forrest Gump becomes an acclaimed, celebrated, billionaire, all whilst being self-aware that he's not smart. Jenny, on the other hand, who is just as stupid as Forrest, isn't self-aware that she's stupid, and therefore can be represented here as Gaga, because, let's face it, Gaga also tried to kill herself and will probably, at some point, die of AIDS.
In conclusion, Beyoncé not giving interviews because she's aware she's a moron is a good thing, not a bad thing. With the invention of social media, she can still have a presence, without having to say a single word anymore.
(Note: Katy Perry is also a moron. She's not self-aware, unfortunately.)

This is a woman who's in control of her career. I have nothing but respect for her.
That's fact there's an article about this is crazy. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif) Bey is too powerful for her own good. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif)

Ms. Jefferson said: “She has to be studying how effective her interviews have been so far. She may have decided that they do not contribute as dazzlingly to the portrait of Beyoncé as the other stuff. It’s a perfectly reasonable decision.”
She added that having seen the HBO special “Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream,” “I’m not at all surprised. That is a deeply micromanaged documentary.”

This hit the nail on the head.

She's such a "ditz" but is worth hundreds of millions of dollars due to her many business ventures.
Y'all grasp on to that If you want to. ![skull](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/faces/skull_zpsksni5fmm.gif)

Beyonce may not be the most well spoken, but she's far from dumb.
However, I do love the irony of her being called dumb and manipulative in the same sentence.

Everyone should know by now that you don't get to where Bey is by being dumb - you HAVE to make clever decisions.

Others see her choice as empowered. Daphne A. Brooks, a Yale professor who teaches a class on black women and popular music culture that includes Beyoncé’s music (she is on sabbatical, finishing a book that will, in part, discuss Beyoncé), views her inaccessibility as a hard-won privilege, a reclamation of privacy not historically accorded to African-American women.
“She’s been able to reach this level of stardom in which she’s managed — in a way that I really think is unique even among other black women entertainers — hyper-visibility and inaccessibility simultaneously,” Professor Brooks said.
She called it “refreshing” to think that Beyoncé’s reticence in the news media would challenge her listeners “to think about the art first” as opposed to fostering a presumption about “getting closer to the entertainer.”

She's incredibly creative," says Rob Stringer, chairman of Sony Music Label Group. "She also works phenomenally hard to create the opportunities she has. People tend to think there's always an image-maker behind female pop stars. That's not the case with Beyoncé. There's no element of diva or difficulty about her; she takes control of the process and makes it happen. She's grown beautifully in that role."
Sony's Stringer adds, "Other artists pretend they have control over what they do. Beyoncé really does."]

I mean Chair of Sony and Columbia, who has worked with hundreds of artists would know.

Exactly. She's smart for focusing on her strengths and avoiding what she knows are her weaknesses.
