Based on everyone's lists i'm thinking I really really need to see Japanese Breakfast. It's crazy how they went under my radar when its exactly what I was looking for.
U-Turn is so good! I had only heard Boyfriend because it was the song they played on the radio here and I actually viewed it as a step back in quality after Closer/I Was A Fool but this has me convinced otherwise.
From first listens, Conrad and Nobody Speak sound good too.
And Boyfriend is usually the more praised single, but it doesn't do much for me. Japanese Breakfast are great.

ahh I saw a Thinking of You avi a few months ago but never bothered to check where it was actually from a cute sing though. I never really cared for Tegan and Sara but U-Turn is fine and I also like Conrad and I'm Amazing a lot.
I didn't like Super Natural that much but I lowkey hope Carly keeps experimenting with PC music (just as long as CRJ4 isn't PC )

Thinking of You is a bop for sure. I'm not sure if she's going to move me any more after that but we'll see.
Oh wow, awesome song. Local Natives got me back on track with Villainy. The "oooooohs" are infectious.
104. Beck - Wow
This song has gotten tons of mixed reception from a combination of both lyrical content & the seemingly "trendy" trap beat. It may have gotten some "real rock fans" feeling a type of way but for me it has some charm to it. If you know Beck, he loves experimenting and isn't cautious on being progressive. Wow overall is a fun track. Nothing really meant to be taken seriously. Love the background effects too.

I don't normally check for Nick. The last time I did was when he remixed Jealous with Tinashe. Close however secures another awesome collab he did, this time with Tove. I kinda like Tove's part as much as Nick's too.
99. Kristin Kontrol - X-Communicate
The 80s inspired electro-pop is strong here.
98. RY X - Deliverance
Deliverance really delivers a relaxing wave of sound. Another smooth voice to listen to.
97. Wild Nothing - Reichpop
The :50 mark where those xylophone sounds come in This track overall is a solid breeze.
96. Woods - Can't See At All
If you like psychedelic freaky folk stuff then this'll probably be up your alley.
95. Zhu - Palm Of My Hand
The guitar work really draws me in. The beginning sirens creates an atmospheric presence for the track. The way this track transitions is neat and Zhu really shows off talent here.

Top Notch production with one of Hov's best verses in who knows how long? Yes please.
93. The Hotelier - Soft Animal
A nature themed track with a sad story of a death of an innocent deer. It revolves around hope and realism. Holden brings it in through his emotional vocals.

Love the rocky riffs here. Paul's touch is appreciated. The best song named trophy this year.... by far.

I just wanna impress you. Just say you love me. Her intents are clear and production is certainly a highlight. The dub plays around the ear a bit.
