The latest version of iTunes doesn't have pop bars, and there's a way to "down grade" to get the pop bars on the old version, but I don't want to risk losing my songs.

Oh, I had iTunes 9 and downgraded to 8 cause of the popbars, didn't lose my songs, but I managed to backup all iTunes files ofcourse...
