according to an attendee who met her at the otr tour, she's dropping an official single this year & an album next I don't think we're getting the tape tbh, and a worker who works for kim said shes still on her own label... I just don't think she'll be fully motivated or fully want to come back jonny:

I don't get how she can go to these concerts and not be motivated to do the same

It's #ThrowbackThursday and we're taking the opportunity to look back at some of the most stylish people, places, and things of the past.

Today's subject is Lil' Kim.

The iconic female rapper, who gained plenty of fame in the late '90s and early 2000s, will turn 40 (or 39, depending on what source you look at) on July 11, and we want to celebrate.

The American rapper was born and raised in Brooklyn, and in her teens she began freestyle rapping, eventually getting the chance to rap for The Notorious B.I.G. He gave Kim her start in 1995, and it was all up from there. Her debut album, "Hard Core," was certified double platinum, while her following two albums were certified platinum, making her the only female rapper (aside from Missy Elliot) to have three platinum albums.

But aside from her musical accomplishments, the bodacious singer always made sure to make a statement with her clothes. Well before Rihanna and Miley Cyrus were baring (almost) all on red carpets everywhere, Lil' Kim was making heads turn with some of the most risque outfits we've ever seen. (Miley herself even paid homage to the rap star last Halloween.)

So, in honour of the Notorious K.I.M., we're taking a look back at some of the best looks from the prime of her career -- she sure was a princess of the early 2000s. Just have a look through the gallery to see for yourself!

The queen has been snubbed by her own hiphop community, she's only just now getting her props tbh at the payment (but it is hella expensive )
