I wish this had a video. I know I'm one of the only ones, but I looove this song! It's definitely a theme song for me. Kinda wish some of the pieces of the demo were left, buti ain't too mad at Joanna!
If they're just putting it on her vevo just for the archives or whatever, then that's fine. But if they're actually planning to release this then it's just adding to the list of ****-ups. They needed to have decided ages ago rather than releasing it and making a concerned effort to play it down as a promo single, and then deciding to properly release it months later.
Surely they have better tracks out there? She needs something that has a catchy melody, catchy lyrics and also shows off her voice. This is a good song but the melody (in the verses) is dry and it doesn't tick the other boxes.
Obviously is a single - why would they make such a complicated and tailored lyric video for an album track?
I know, but if it really is then Interscope/Streamline/Blackground/Whoever have reached new lows in their half-assedness about this project. So frustrating.
I don't think they're gonna make it a second single, I think this might be just something connected to Clearasil. They were pretty clear this was promo when it first came out, I doubt they would just randomly decide to make it a single months later
I don't think we should be alarmed, we should be proud! I think this is in response to Team JoJo bitching about promo, so trying to push her most recent work. In my opinion I don't think Sexy To Me will make the tracklisting, as it is being referred to as a promo single, not an album track. Also, she likes the song so wanted to use it and did for Clearasil, so we got a newer song than Disaster to jam to and she got to actually use a leak. I think things are lining up for single 2 and I really hope that besides Disaster the entire album is new. I'm tired of listening to the old tracks and want some brand new jams!!
