That's a ballad?
To me that's more a dance song than a ballad, especially with "we're going up up up up up up!".

I was thinking more "Still Getting Younger", "Back to You", or "In the Morning" by Wynter Gordon, tbh.

I knew not everyone would agree with it but lyrically it is and the composition/arrangement is definitely dark so it's kind of a dance ballad or dark house/pop.

Not sure if I want any dubstep on this album or not. I for some reason associate dubstep with darker music, especially since Rih used it on Rated R and Red Lipstick which are all dark in a sense.

I imagine this album being lighter then TTT. Though we do know next to nothing about it.

Oh, and I'm apologizing in advance because I know I'll be referencing Wynter Gordon a lot when talking about styles of songs Rihanna could do, etc. I've just wanted Rihanna to make her own 'With the Music I Die' for a while now, and now it's actually happening.

@Pan Chase & Status have said they're working on this new album.
I think the overall tone of the album will be lighter than TTT but a few dubstep tune won't hurt anyone.

Preferably new album Spring 2013, but I'll be okay with Fall 2012. An album filled with lots of multi format hits & 2-3 hardcore dance cuts. I want a very elegant style. Dresses, hair up in bun (dark shade of blue maybe, but short & maybe only in streaks). I recommend she work with Afrojack, Skrillex, Bangladesh, StarGate for 1-2, Calvin Harris, Rico Love, Diplo, Hit Boy.

No bubblegum crap. Not as light as Loud, but still elegant & lighthearted. I basically want it to be her GGGB self going to a red carpet event (dressed up).

I want to stress multi format hits. They could be her strongest weapon if she played her cards right.
