I am excited yet nervous about the music quality. Not because I dont think shes not going to bring her A-game, but because my expectations are going to be super high since MIAM was so damn good
Mariah will be snatching bitches bald shortly. Her career hasn't been this organized since the release of TMB.
this makes me realize that Mariah hasnt been career focused since Emancipation part of her issue is that she begins the promo cycle before the album is complete. That **** needs to stop.
Also as far as her and Nick go, she needs to put a gag order on him.

yes this x100. Don't promo anything until it's done pleaaase.
Lol why do y'all have faith in this new era? Honestly, as being a blunt fan, we haven't had a string of good performances, the promotion even for this Vegas Residency has been bad if any, and she's having the usual personal life troubles every now and so. Same ish from last era.
When she's able to give a good string of performances I'll have lots of hope and happiness towards an era (like last era she couldn't even lip sync performances correctly ). She also needs to have everything ready, the delays for everything last era weren't like forgivable even if the album was amazing. It still makes me mad. & if she's worried about success, she needs to bust her ass with promotion and do some newish things. The singles last era were mediocre compared to previous eras (the album tracks were legit almost all better) and excluding #Beautiful, she performed them each like 2 times then gave up.
She has a long way to come. All I want is music, and for her to get her performing skills back rn.
I personally wouldn't expect any success from her tbh, let alone a #1 hit or Song of the Decade ever again, so there's no need to get hopes up on that. Just hope for quality.

That will never happen Mariah's performing ability has greatly diminished we all know that. Her best hope of having a smash album would be an aesthetic makeover, im talking plain jane Music Box era, and an amazing social media campaign with Itunes/Spotify banners for 2/3 years. I know I sound delusional but it has been a long time since Mariah was praised for a string of live performances, they have hurt her in more recent years. I honestly think she should stay OFF the stage this era Do more interviews and focus on ONE radio format and sound. No more Pop R&B crossover. Neither Pop or R&B radio is spinning on her so she might as well focus all her efforts on one and pray for the best.
Hey y'all, wanna do a favor? Since a few Gaga stans on ATRL got Billboard to do an analysis of Gaga's career album + single sales on Ask Billboard, would y'all minding shooting Billboard an e-mail?
An example of the one Monsters sent, that got answered:
Quote:
Hey Gary, since we just celebrated Lady Gaga's 29th birthday (March 28), could you please provide an update of her sales to celebrate, besides her birthday, her chart success, so we can continue to give her deserved … ''applause."
Thanks,

Send to [email protected] requesting a single sales update, her top-selling singles, and her highest single sales weeks if possible and they might answer it on the weekly Ask Billboard column. Include first name + location @ the end.
It'd be nice to finally get an update on her singles, since everytime her sales get updated they're regarding albums.
