wasn't shading anyone in particular. But I always admire when artists write their own songs. Even if they suck
I don't mind if an artist doesn't write their own lyrics if its a party song. I only care about lyrics being written by the artist if it's a ballad song.
I really don't like the generic nature of Alejandro, everything on The Fame, Telephone, and Monster. The rest are very unique. Teeth was gold along with SHICD.

Anyway, i agree with whoever said Gaga has unusual lyrics. They're far from bad. If anything there sometimes hard to interpret, simply because you can twist them to mean virtually anything. And a lot of them are brilliant by contemporary pop standards.... There's pleanty of break-up songs but exactly how many have the singer breaking up with three lovers at once? Pleanty of love songs but how many describe a love so passionate you want the absolute worst and often undesirable aspects of a person? How many party songs out today contain simple, yet epic lines like "can't find my drink or man.... where are my keys, i lost my phone?" EXACTLY. .
