But also, I'm beyond excited for MTWBT. I've said it before, but we've been hyped for this song since, what, late December? And we have no ide what it sounds like. I really want something upbeat and with an epic feel--like a love child of OTTR and WC!--but I have a feeling that desire will not be met, so I'm going into it without any expectations. Even if I don't love it at first, I know for a fact it will grow on me just like HM, HBTB, and TLY

Same. I think TLY killed it the hype for me, tbh. I mean I love the song so much but it's not the "vibe" I need right now. I'm also put off by her aesthetics this era, idk I feel that she is quickly declining visually. She just doesn't care anymore.
I feel like all of you complaining are going to love this when it comes out. It's satisfying the fans of her slower, jazzy side and introducing chillwave Lana for those who prefer her beat-driven music.
I hope it'll be a good song, but as the good sis ahaunting said, I'm sure I will get into it even it's not a little more upbeat (what I want)
