I think the main problem isn't necessarily that it's bubblegum pop and doesn't appeal to people. It just doesn't have much support from other formats. She's still too low on HAC for that to really count. Looking at the chart of overall AI, she's performing on iTunes just like the country songs around it that also only have one format. Everything that's higher on ITunes and on overall radio has massive support from Pop, HAC, AC and Rhythmic (and some even have Urban).
She released this at a perfect time for me though because of some problems I'm going through and this song describes exactly how I feel. Keep slaying Demetria!!

yeah I agree, especially because I think the main reason the song is climbing so much on itunes is because is on power rotation on z100. if it had more radio support, it would be top 20 on itunes easily. anyway, I'm still happy with the top 30 on billboard. like someone said earlier, people compare this song released more than a year ago with other songs that are 1st or 2nd singles
