I VERY obviously checked out a cute Asian boy on the street before when I was out to get lunch, and then when I got back to work he got in the elevator behind me and I realized he works at the same place as me and sis was not feeling it.

Both are extremely successful
Everyone in South Korea knows who she is without even saying/mentioning 2ne1 aka high public recognition (everyone knows who nicki minaj is in the US)
Is seen as one of the best female rappers and one of the most visible mainstream female rappers (same as nicki minaj)
Can also sing but mainly focuses on rapping
Has collaborated with top artists in the industry (Psy, Big Bang) similar to Nicki collaborating with Drake and Beyonce
Even though the "queen of rap" title is never used, CL would be the current queen of rap since Yoon Mi Rae isnt as musically active anymore just like Nicki is the current queen due to none of the previous queens of rap being active/relevant
Side note: its a bit dificult to compare SK artist popularity to American artist because their is different types of popularity in Korea. Seolhyun from AOA is a popular singer but not for her music though if you asked who are the most known female idols currently, she would be named. Hyuna is basically CL's main competition because she and her group are successful and everyone in korea knows her. What puts CL over her is the fact that CL is viewed as being one of the best rappers while no one ever mentions Hyuna's rapping ability. However Hyuna would be considered nicki minaj's SK counterpart too because both use sexual imagery and are extremely successful and popular. But based on my experiences of being in Suuth Korea and asking people about Kpop, i think CL being nicki minaj is as accurate as i can get
I'm vietnamese and I think they are the same

Well, HyunA is a winner in my heart.
This song alone
i wasnt saying it in a bad way. Its just that when i asked people about hyuna, the men all said she was hot and the women said they like her music and that she was pretty however when i mentioned CL both said that she was a good rapper however no one said she was hot or pretty. People pay more attention to hyuna's beauty than her music while more people pay attention to CL's rapping with no mention of her looks. But if CL takes any longer with this american advancement, South Koreans will lose interest and Hyuna will be the last big female rapper left until Jimin gains more popularity

Interesting. I hope Hyuna can make it to the US market.
I went to a Thai fair earlier today and was expecting to see a lot of hot Thai guys but so far I've only seen 1 or 2 & the rest were average looking Vietnamese guys
Today has been such an eventful day. First I got turned down by a average looking "chubby" guy on OkCupid who took half naked picture in front of his wardrobe next to a dirty pile of garbage and by hiting me with the with the "no fem" rejection thing. Like, I was just tryna be nice & try to see pass everything by talking to him first since we a high matching percentage but that's what I get. Being fem is so hard sometimes
Later I went to this mall in bought myself a women sweatshirt cause it's cute and fits me perfectly but when I was in the dressing room I dropped my glasses while changing clothes and cracked one of the lenses in half. Now I gotta put it back together temporary & wait till tomorrow because all the stores are already closed. Just as I got home and was browsing through Grindr, this White 50 year old sugar daddy who happen to live minutes away from me hit me up saying he wants to be friends. I was kinda held back a little cause he has a half-naked profile pic and he's the same age as my mom who happen to look nothing like this but we talked for a while since he seemed nice. He said wanted to talk to me again tomorrow so I guess I'll go with the flow and see how things will go
