Saade stopped by on Le Grand Journal while in France for a short interview about his latest success and more of his future plans.
About his success:
As for someone like me who's never had success on a global level before it's all a bit surreal. You still think you're a local male pop star who is still trying to make it. But you get to places you never been before and people know you. You look at the charts and your #1. It's surreal and it makes you feel like you're on top of the world. It's a blessing.
The inspiration behind Exposé
Like the Forgive Me album I was heavily inspired by artists like Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, who I was lucky to work with on the album. They have a really signature R&B style and I kind of wanted to find my own R&B signature sound niche. I was influenced by a classic R&B sound.
What's ahead for Exposé:
What I have planned for Exposé will kind of lead on to the next album. It's a bit of a switch up than what I intended but people will like it. I don't want to give too much away.
What will the next album sound like?
I've started writing for it. It's definitely going to me more like my old stuff than my new stuff. More pop, K-Pop and J-Pop influenced heavily. I love R&B and it'll definitely have some of that there. But you know what I want to do can change if I become re-inspired you know? But that's the blueprint so far.
