I used to dance to this song in my kitchen I was such a little queen back then, we were poor because my mom was a single mother and could barely give us what we needed, but she made sure I had a cd player and she bought me Britney's 1st album. The memories this song...I just can't!

It's not the quality, more like the memories attached to the music. Like I know some of the music I used to listen to when I was a kid is straight-up trash, but they do things to me because they make me remember great moments.

Well that's a generational thing, it depends on your age and what kind of music impacted you when you were younger. I never liked Hey Ya! or any of the trash early 2000's had to offer.
