Sorry, guys! I've been checking the base and reading everything, but I haven't had time to reply to everything.

Adele's performance yesterday was GREAT. You could tell she was super nervous, though, and it definitely affected her vocals, but she still nailed it, even with her nerves. I'm waiting for the NRJ Awards' official YouTube account to upload a video of her performance, as well as a video of her receiving her award (I haven't seen any videos of that yet).

As for the success of "Hello," I think it's incredible, and I'm so happy for her. I had to withdraw from listening to it for a few days because I've played it so much, but now I'm listening to it non-stop again. (Don't worry; even when I was in withdrawal, I listened to it at least 5-10 times a day.) I'm just obsessed. Its slayage is PHENOMENAL. I knew it was going to be a huge hit, but I don't think anyone could've predicted it would continue to smash like this. I'm so proud of her. Talent always prevails in the end.

And question for all my American Daydreamers... Do they sell physical copies of i-D ANYWHERE in the US? I've been busy looking for her Rolling Stone cover (FINALLY found it in a store yesterday).

And Ichi, I saw that "Hello" promo CD.... What the hell? Why are they going for so much? I'm pissed they didn't issue an official one like they did with "Rolling in the Deep" and all of the 19 singles.

From what I heard, it takes Barnes and Noble a month to get the next copy of I-d. I'm going to call them on Thursday to see if they have it and I'll let you know what they tell me

Yes, please let me know what Barnes & Noble says, Ichi! I went in there about a week ago and they didn't have any i-D magazines at all.

Anyways... "Someone Like You" is FAR from overrated, I think. And I think most of the Daydreamers would agree. It's probably her most well-liked song, but understandably so. It's extremely relatable, even if you haven't been in a relationship like that. When I heard "Someone Like You" for the first time, I was going through a hard time with my best friend because I knew we were about to go our separate ways and we wouldn't see each other as often, and it was really hard for me because I knew he'd move on and be fine, but I wasn't as outgoing as him at the time and was afraid of how my life would be without him in it as much. I mean... Those lyrics are relatable for pretty much anyone, and it's just a beautiful song, and it's arguably her best song from an emotional standpoint.

And yeah, I can't believe it's seriously that close... I can almost taste it! The new album is almost here!

If there's enough of a demand, they might do one. I'm going to email XL and see if one is in the works (I emailed Beggars Group before, which owns XL, so this time I'm going to XL specifically; I don't know Columbia's email). I REALLY want an official CD single. And I would buy a poster of the single cover as well. They did one for "Rolling in the Deep" and 21 that I have hanging in my room and it's absolutely incredible! And I'm really glad "Alive" is getting an official CD single now. I'm going to look into getting it!

Okay, I will probably sound like I lost my ****ing mind now and it's actually quite possible I did, but... am I the only one who's a bit afraid of the release day? Like, I'm extremely excited and seriously can't wait, but at the same time I'm also extremely afraid that we'll go through the same **** again after this album and it will take her another 5 years after 25 and I'm just...ugh.

Like, right now I'm enjoying the feeling and excitement of new stuff coming very soon, but once I overplay it, there will be nothing to look forward to again.

...okay, maybe I just need to get drunk.

I think what "ruined" SLY for me was the album version. It's still one of my favorites and it will always go down as her biggest classic but I can only listen to the live performances of it. I feel like that's what stops me from rating it.

I think I've downloaded almost every performance of it she's done.

edit: I shouldn't say ruined because I listen to it all the time still.

Well I don't know what you drink, but booze usually does quite the opposite for me.

Oh, gotcha! I'm sure there's one out there. If you want, I can check Amazon and eBay later for you! I know people make posters like that all the time and sell them, especially on Amazon. There's a bunch of the "Someone Like You" artwork without text. I'll look!
