I was watching p**n and fantastic baby was playing in the background and i decided to search for that song and I found BIGBANG and then i got into them and found out about 2NE1 and grew to love all YG artists. Thats how I got into Kpop

While some of these artists did have viral videos beforehand, the Hallyu Wave was at it's peak during 2011.
Nobody was kinda one of the first, if not the first.

I got into k-pop thru Legend Park Bom. Her hit song Don't Cry just dropped and a site I frequent posted it. People in the comment section posted 2NE1's songs and as soon as I clicked on It Hurts I was hooked.

Life changing moment tbh.

I saw them on SYTYCD I didn't think much of but that was basically my first taste of kpop as well.

Who knew I would stan them 2-3? years later.
