The monsters are so hypocritical. They called "Skyfall" all kinds of flops, but it actually went to #1 on U.S. iTunes and went to #1 in over 50 countries.
OMG the metldowns on GGD are causing me to asphyxiate my LORD. I mean I stan for the woman, but they are losing their minds because she is going to scan 200K.
The US only gave Lady Gaga 2 #1 singles with TF/TFM era's, I knew that even if she hit #1 in the US, it'd only be a matter of time before Katy came for her. Katy gets #1 singles in the US, Gaga doesn't.
Gaga's increases come when she starts promo. For a start, she needs more than an iTunes banner, although i'm sure promo for her will kick in next week when the video comes out and the song is officially released to radio on 8/20.
As long as she stabilises inside the Top 5 or even Top 10 i'll be cool, she needs to linger there until promo kicks in when hopefully she'll go back to getting continuous dark green updates, it's just the same cycle she goes through with every single.
nnnnn
not a certain LM spamming his endless list of excuses everywhere and getting clocked left and right in the chart subforum
My heart truly goes out to the Kats, though. They have a more local Born This Way era ahead of them, we need to pray for their strength.
Let's bring this "who's doing better worldwide" argument back when Katy and Gags go on tour and release their albums. I don't even want to think about awards season. But I'mma let the Kats go ahead and have their little iTunes #1 while it lasts.
Katy isn't dumb enough to sabotage her own career like that.
I'm still waiting for a thread by RobynYouBank for Applause like the one he did for Skyfall. After all Applause is the lead single of a brand new era.

People act like it was the end of Adele's career, especially the Little Monsters, so the performance of "Applause" so far is so hilarious to me right now. All that talk about strong first week & skyrocketing to iTunes #1 = starpower.
Y'all dont need me to tell you that this release is a catastrophe.
The fact that for the past 10 months y'all have been dragging gaga for having to do a lot of promo for her singles to take off and then y'all drag a rush-release with no promo and no hype thats 1 WW and 2 in the US is
