That sucks. I'm actually open to dating guys of any race but the problem is that there aren't many foreigners here & I don't fall into the categories that most guys here find attractive so blind dating via apps isn't working well for me. Also, since Tinder is pretty formal so you would have no idea if the guy you just swiped right is a top or a bottom or what type of guy he's into. Gay-oriented apps however are mostly for hookups & I'm not bout that life so whatever.

I feel like Asian guys would be more appreciated by non-Asian guys than those of their own kind so it's pretty understandable why so many Asians want a taste of the foreign

Yknow, like my relatives keep shoving questions about whether I'm dating anyone yet or when I'm gonna get married it's honestly so annoying. There's this aunt of mine who came to visit from the US and she even suspected that I was gay (which is true) because I've been single for so long, and like, so many of my friends are already have been through a few relationships while I'm still here looking like a prude. im 21 as well. ive only had 2 relationships in my life though. both ended horribly. both were with puerto ricans. mu next relationship probably wont be until i turn 22 or 23 tbh

White people really can't cut Asian hair in my experience
In my whole life, only one white hairdresser actually cut my hair well

The few good (Asian) hair salons in my city are expensive af, 35-40 euro per haircut. The struggle is real

Nicki Minaj

Here's why:

Both are extremely successful
Everyone in South Korea knows who she is without even saying/mentioning 2ne1 aka high public recognition (everyone knows who nicki minaj is in the US)
Is seen as one of the best female rappers and one of the most visible mainstream female rappers (same as nicki minaj)
Can also sing but mainly focuses on rapping
Has collaborated with top artists in the industry (Psy, Big Bang) similar to Nicki collaborating with Drake and Beyonce
Even though the "queen of rap" title is never used, CL would be the current queen of rap since Yoon Mi Rae isnt as musically active anymore just like Nicki is the current queen due to none of the previous queens of rap being active/relevant

Side note: its a bit dificult to compare SK artist popularity to American artist because their is different types of popularity in Korea. Seolhyun from AOA is a popular singer but not for her music though if you asked who are the most known female idols currently, she would be named. Hyuna is basically CL's main competition because she and her group are successful and everyone in korea knows her. What puts CL over her is the fact that CL is viewed as being one of the best rappers while no one ever mentions Hyuna's rapping ability. However Hyuna would be considered nicki minaj's SK counterpart too because both use sexual imagery and are extremely successful and popular. But based on my experiences of being in Suuth Korea and asking people about Kpop, i think CL being nicki minaj is as accurate as i can get
