Ditto!
I'm really intrigued about the days surrounding the release and day of . She doesn't have any shows the day of or two days after...plus she'll be in New York where most TV shows are filmed.
With careful planning, she could still have a lot of media visibility week of release. Shows like:
Wendy
Today Show
Tonight Show
[Also want to see her do a New York based signing too, which will be great for photo opp, blogs etc]
Excited that the May 9th show will be streamed live on Yahoo worldwide. That's a great look and low key has me wishing the album was dropping when global release dates come into effect. That's the kind of smart marketing labels need to start doing more to reach a global audience.
In general, really keen for her to pre-record as many appearances as possible too. TV, radio like Ryan Seacrest, etc.
She also has a California run nearer the end of the tour which could also provide lots of TV opps. I like that it means that promo can be spread out.
Random, but I also like that they are milking "I Bet" for everything they can. Sure, it's no "We Belong Together," but it means we won't get a short era. If second single coincides with run-up to album, there'll be a lot of scope to keep pushing. Put simply, I feel Epic are following the Fifth Harmony model. They toured almost as soon as album dropped and "Worth It" is being pushed aggressively despite being third single.
May 4th needs to hurry!
