While I agree that personal issues should be dealt with out of the public glare, it's not as if Solo charged at him on the carpet or in front of the world. THAT would have indicated some sort of bipolar behavior. But, it was done in a closed off space that I assume she didn't know had cameras.
Beyond that, putting the "star" status of all involved to one side, just think about the logistics/psychology behind what happened, it really does point to Jay having done something wrong.
Bey may not have been as docile as everyone is saying, BUT she crucially doesn't ever "check" Solo, nor does she appear to chat to Jay in a "don't mind her her, she's having a another crazy episode" kind of way. Sorry, but that points to her siding with Solo or perhaps finding them BOTH equally as wrong. Although, I personally see it as siding with her sister.
Which again leaves the question...just what did Jay do?

I'd like to see your qualifications in psychology.
This isn't a blow to Beyoncé's brand, shes NEVER pretended her, or her relationships were perfect,
perhaps yall didn't listen to Jealous, or Mine, or songs from Jay's album. You probably just look at the photos media publications chose to publish.
Beyoncé isn't stupid, she knew there were cameras and her docile approach in the footage has worked for her, the majority of the focus is on Solange, secondary Jay Z, she has no interest in giving you anything to go on
Solange was seen arguing with Rachel Roy, who is the ex-wife of Damon Dash, 1/3 founder of Roc-A-Fella, who Jay Z famously pushed out of the business
now that seems like a legit lead, instead of your uneducated speculation
