I like screwing with the storylines in TS2. It was different every time I played. TS3's main director was Humble, who wanted to make the series more gameplay and goal oriented, like an MMO. He left either before or after Generations, so I would expect the collecting aspects of TS3 to be gone in TS4.

This makes me happy. I like what TS3 tries to be but it doesn't execute it properly. And the fact it's broken beyond belief is just

Like it's a great looking game and the goals and opportunities were cute for a moment in 2009 but honestly it all got dull too fast. The story and the choice of what you could do in Sims 2 is just so much better, even after all these years it's constantly a new "experience".

I want to play TS3 before TS4 gets released but just thinking about the patch that I'm sure is already pass 1,2 GBs makes me

Ngl, I was thrilled back when it was released, I spent hours playing even though it was just the base game but after all the expansios it became too much and I couldn't enjoy them.

Yeah it's ridiculous.

So was I, I played it for days and days and was so impressed with everything, but they started throwing out expansion after expansion and the game exposed so many more glitches and the stupid story progression revealed itself to me and I couldn't enjoy it like I wanted to. No amount of mods could fix that either, simply because they slowed my laptop and were way more than I needed.

I found myself ignoring create a style loads just because it took so long for me to decide and had little impact on anything in the long run anyway

The game just feels too limited for me, perhaps I wasn't playing it right but it just didn't have the freedom Sims 2 did.

Let's talk for a second about the joke known as "The Sims 3 (2) store." I hope no one here has every actually allowed themselves to be scammed into that disgusting behavior. You can get all that stuff for a much better deal on other sites (I should know as I spent money when TS3 first came out).

An absolute mess.

I only ever used the free 1500 points every person got and I only actually used like 800 of it. It was a disgusting scam when I'm downloading double the amount of stuff as like £5 worth on the Sims Store every day to my Sims 2 game, all free.

Better yet, let's hope no one here uses money from TheSimsResource or on sites like PeggyZone (is she even still around? ), Rose, Newsea, etc. That's illegal and there are other websites that you can get that shiny CC from.

Here is the render of Mortimer and Bella in much higher resolution. Notice them showing off the huge wedding rings? Looks like it is placed right after they got married.. so it could be the start of The Sims 1 or right before.

The storylines in TS2 were so good. Ugh, I'm thinking about installing it on my laptop (it used to be on my desktop, which is now trashed) 3 was lacking in storyline, but I honestly did (do) enjoy the game play. Agreed, they put so much into it. The rich backstory along with the photos was so fun to play with and play out differently 100 times over the years. Sims 3 had no "history" behind any of the characters so I just didn't care about them. I definitely want Sims 2 style more. The story is very important to me because it's usually what I touch first after playing with CAS.

All of this I'm really hoping they put a storyline around the Goth's, Pleasant's, and the others who were in Pleasantview. I stan for everyone in that town especially Don Lothario & Nina and Dina Caliente (queens ) if there's no storyline in 4 I'm gonna be so upset

WaiT TSR gives everything free now? When did they add that? I remember everyone used to lash at them because they'd steal stuff and/or drag ModTheSims for being more open to adult content. Aside from the paying mess.

They would try to give viruses and get other sites that rivaled them taken down. Something like that.

They would also not pay artists for the work they'd done sometimes.

I hate how Origin will have a bigger role now, from what I have read, people that buy the games on that site sometimes aren't able to download them and it's just as messy as the glitches on the game.

On a side note, Bella looks so good but they need to blend the hairline though, it looks way too plastic cap-ish
