Second Custody Court Hearing Takes Place; Laura Wasser Speaks
5th September 2007
Laura Wasser, representing Britney Spears, and Mark Vincent Kaplan, representing Kevin Federline, went to court early yesterday, regarding the forthcoming custody battle, lodged by Federline. The media were present for the first part; however, County Counsel, representing the Department of Children & Family services, were not, as they have closed all investigations. Laura Wasser said, "they're not coming, this is much adieu about..." but was interrupted by Kaplan who asked the judge to clear the court of the media. After the judge granted her request for a continuance, with the next court hearing to take place in late November, she told the media, "The DCFS are not going to pursue anything on this... I don't think they had anything to appear about."
