i wouldn't say it's generic though. I can't argue the autotune, but I think it's one of the reasons it's so flawless

It's not overly generic, because when it came out there wasn't any songs sounding like it exactly.
It's just the lyrics and vocal production that are generic... but she does it right, so it's heavenly

They are close friends of her though I think. She's not going to kick them out of the band. And I can't say I blame her. I'm sure having friends around you on tour is important in the business to stay sane, and they're far less horrible singers than people on here sometimes like to pretend they are.
