Nah....very few consider Court the GOAT these days. Her record is propped up by winning 11 AO titles when most of the top players didn't go there. She only won 3 Wimbledon titles, in comparison to her great rival Billie Jean King, who won 6.
I still want her to get 25 but once she gets 22 in a few days it'll be pretty much a done deal on the GOAT talk
Serena L to Kerber here, silver medal at Rio, then she'll probably get nervous going for the Silver Slam and choke in the SF of US Open. Still love her.
Kerber will get slayed by Serena in the final.. Serena really should have won in Australia, i feel like she didn't execute at all and Kerber hung in there
tbh I like Kerber, she's paid her dues on tour and it's nice to see one of the girls (kind of) stepping it up.. the tour needs more elite, consistent players a la Davenport, Clijsters, Hingis, Henin etc
is it bad that my picks for the men's title are as follows:
1. Berdych
2. Raonic
3. Federer
4. Murray
Venus should be #6 after this is over, I think? If she has a good hard court season she'll have a MUCH better USO draw this year, hopefully she goes far. Honestly think she would've won it all last year had she not seen Serena in the QF.
