Will Luke Bryan go for a sixth single from "Crash My Party"? Or will he go for a new release? His CD is still selling strong after 60 weeks, and "Roller Coaster" appears to have turned it around and will be Number One on Billboard's impressions-based Country Airplay Chart this coming week. FGL's "Dirt" might overtake Bryan in spins on Mediabase, but if I do have time to get my articles done, I use impressions anyway.
I just need "Roller Coaster" to make the Top 40 on the Hot 100, so he would have five Top 40 hits off of his album. So far, the song has reached #43. So close, but not quite there. With "Roller Coaster" being the fifth single off of Crash My Party, the song isn't selling quite as well, though it is approaching gold. That seems to be holding this song back on the Hot 100.
However, I heard an acoustic-only version of the song late last week, which would be good to release as a download. That would get"Roller Coaster" in the Top 40 for at least a couple of weeks. Come on Luke, just four more notches (#44 the last two weeks with a bullet), you can do this!
Pop radio needs to get on board with Carrie already ...
There's really a double standard when it comes to country artist crossing to pop and R&b artist crossing to pop
Something In The Water is pop/country as far as i know
Pop radio can't play the song if Carrie refuses to send the song to them
After BHC, she does not want to crossover anymore, she's a bitch She ruined Blown Away's life by that horrible decision

Why is Carrie against having her songs cross over?
In one of her interviews she was asked about how she felt about Taylor crossing over to Pop with WANGBT and IKYWT, she responded that she was okay with it but that she would never purposefully write a Pop song for radio, she's happy with or without Pop radio support.

If it can reach a wide amount of people which mean more sales, she wouldn't be against it.
She has no say in it anyway. Radio control you, not the other way.
LIE, how can radio support you if there's no add date and no official release?
