This exact same issue happened when Reflection was released. It baffles me how Epic can put so much money into the girls' careers through music videos, radio deals, promo spots, etc., but then when it's time for all of that to pay off, they understock the album

You inadvertently contradicted yourself in the same post If the low sales debut is Epic's fault for understocking the album, that means Epic didn't care enough to get a good debut. So why would they give up on 5H for a low debut when they're the ones who decided they didn't want to prioritize a high debut?

i went to two local walmarts yesterday looking for it and neither had it. one of them had a single copy of Reflection and the other had Juntos tho
Epic really f***ed up with this, i went to several chain stores yesterday looking for it
2 Walmarts: none
Barnes & Noble: none
Best Buy: none
Target: one row of deluxes (maybe 6 or 7 copies on the shelf total)

every single one of these stores had multiple copies of Reflection on its release day last year

They didn't put in the work to get a high debut, so I don't see how they can be mad when a high debut doesn't happen. I mean they had Ellen, BBMA's, DTWS just a week before. Epic may be disappointed but it honestly sounds like a lot of retailers didn't have it, and that is on Epic.
