She might not be a household name in America yet, but this 22-year-old british lady is already making a major splash overseas with her soulful brand of sweeping anthemic pop.

How would you describe your style?
Usually I’ll just get up and totally mix-match my outfits, so I look a bit like I’m blind in the mornings, haha!
I grew up in that sort of carefree environment, and you can see it in my style. I love dresses,
I love pairing a vintage dress with boots or Converse, just because it's so easy to get up and wear it.
Did you always wanted to be a singer?
When I was in Southampton nobody really knew I could sing – well neither I actually because I don’t really thought that I was a good singer and I still don’t really think that I ‘m a decent one, I was quite a shy girl and today I still the same shy girl just a little bit older.
When my friends and I were 18, they were going to do a beauty course and I was just going to follow them because it was what they were doing.
I felt ridiculous for doing that but most of my friends said that was a ridiculous idea that I wanted to be a singer.
I felt a bit depressed because I didn’t really had so much support of my friends , and I felt bad for following and doing everything they were doing – I was such an idiot during that time,.
How was your reaction when you won an Grammy?
It was very unexpected.
I was convinced that I had zero chances to win a Grammy.
I was in a dinner with Sam Smith and Disclosure , then my management called me to say that I had won the prize for “Clarity” with Zedd. I was drinking beer and chewing gun in my mount when I went to pick up the Grammy
It was a bit insane like I couldn’t believe that I actually had won – I was completely unprepared for a speech it was like a dream that it came true.
Who is the one who supported you the most?
My mum – she was really the only one that supported me and the dream of me begin a singer, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Foxes “Hearts & Daggers and her collab with Owl City “Up All Night” are out on the stores now.
