I have many friends within NSW Young Liberals and many are gay. They are progressive socially but conservative economically. They just believe in a smaller government which promotes capitalist growth and competition rather than a large government, while many still believe in marriage equality, abortion etc

Thanks again, but like I said I actually specifically asked him his stance on same-sex marriage and he's against it. He's a traditionalist and believes marriage should be between a man and a woman. That was kind of like an instant turn off though so I'm not into him anymore so all is well! Maybe we'll still talk, as friends, but then again maybe not. The straights can have ha <<<

I completed that political compass and was heavily aligned with both the Greens and Labor, and was heavily unaligned with Liberal. I just don't agree with big business tax cuts, deregulation of some university degrees, privatisation of Medicare, and an expensive plebiscite on gay marriage when they should have just legislated to make it legal a very long time ago.

I'm definitely going Labor and the Greens as top two for me. I cannot even fathom voting for Liberal. No thanks.

Love you all.
I would vote Greens #1 but it's just too much of a risk given the amount of Liberal supporters out there, so I'm voting Labor #1, Greens #2 and a slew of parties in between. No vote for the damn Liberals here lol.
