I really want to finish Fairytales Under Neon Lights as an album. The only songs I have fully written and produced for the album are:

1. Fairytales Under Neon Lights
2. I Fell In Love With the DJ
3. Predator

I also have Party Like We're Dreamin', but I don't like how quiet the production ended up being so I'm probably gonna scrap it. I also have other songs written or produced, but I'm either unsure if I want them on the album, or I don't have the other part to them (Written and not produced and vice versa)

I also think that I should focus a lot more on the Fairytale part, even though the "Fairytales Under Neon Lights" title is purely about the sound of the album.

Yeah that EP is called "Stranger In My Hood"

The concept is about me basically re-surging back to life after being awakened only to find there's someone strange in my hometown that I have to take care of.

thank you I put a lot of thought into those titles for my first 'album' (Enigma). I tried to make the whole thing very connected and cohesive and it shows more in the full songs. That was from when I was 18 and it's a lot different to what I'm writing now, the idea of it all was very distant and dream like, whereas with the second album I am still writing (Filter), it is more straight forward and direct. I like the juxtaposition.

a lot of your titles draw my interest too, Stuck On You, Heyo!, Mountain Man, This Time, Barcelona, After Hours, Willow and timeflow all intrigue me a lot

I don't think I have a specific genre really. I'm very inspired by all my favourite artists when I'm creative. I'd say when I write more ballad-y songs that I'm most inspired by people like FKA twigs, Bat for Lashes, Susanne Sundfor, but then I just write a lot of pure pop songs that will have a weird edge, a lot like the PC Music label that I adore so much. I have two finished albums and I really just need to learn how to produce. I think I would describe it as desperate-hyper-pop-ballads. That's the easiest way I can think of right now.

I definitely like that juxtaposition and how you are trying to evolve and not rehash old ideas. My firs album is all about escape, pain, growing up and becoming your own person. The second album is about hope and self acceptance, so there's a definite growth there. The second album is also more direct and literal, as you said yours was while the first is really metaphorical and indirect in its meanings. This one is also being written a lot faster because my first was written spring 2013-summer 2015 and this one I just started writing last fall

Ok nice, I also write pop music ranomly sometimes too. Whenever I need a break from all the dark stuff I write
