How is ''Bad Romance'' certified 11x Platinum while selling 5,6 million copies and ''Telephone'' is only at 3x Platinum with 3,4 million copies and over 300M YT views?

I think it's because of the cost of buying a higher certification. Telephone is probably eligible for a 4x or 5x platinum certification but Bobby is probably waiting to buy them. Maybe he wasn't able to buy them back when he last had Gaga's RIAA stats updated, and Bad Romance going Diamond was probably a bigger priority at the time.

I don't know if this is something to care about, but Billboard reports ARTPOP to have sold 775,000 copies in the US which is up from the 757,000 figure they reported in March/April. My theory is they maybe flipped flopped the 7 and 5? Source: http://http://www.billboard.com/arti...ntil-next-year

I don't think it was a mistake on their part. I had 758,000 in the receipts.
I went ahead and updated it to 775,000 anyways since that is their most recent number.

So, how much for Artpop overall? Wikia has it at 2.5M, would that be a plausible number?

ARTPOP has sold at least 2,000,000 pure copies worldwide.
2,3M copies was the number of shipments reported by IFPI by the end of 2013, so just about 1,5 months after the release of the record. Further reports upgraded the same figure to 2,5 million.
Realistically, ARTPOP has sold a little bit over 2M copies. I'll say in the range of 2 and 2.1 million,
The album was at 1,95 million copies by the middle of 2014 (two years ago). Since then, the album has sold almost 100k copies in the US only which is one of it 's weakest markets. It also remained in the top 100 in about 70 countries on iTunes, so saying it sold about 2,1M copies is pretty realistic.

ARTPOP was at 678,000 back in April 2014.
It's now at 758,000 copies (+80,000 copies since then).
While the album was at 1,95M back in April 2014, it has since then sold +80k in the US only (2,030,000).
If we go by the same percentage (35% of its sales coming from the US), it means the album has sold about 230k WW since April = 2,180,000 copies

ARTPOP's figures are actually impressive when you put into account the fact that the only smooth ish release was the Applause release. Had DWUW had a mv released and had a single come between DWUW and GUY the album would of easily been somewhere around the 2.8M-3M mark in sales by now.

It's obvious that final sales figures would have been improved by a lot if the era wasn't cut short 2 months in.
Literally, the latest major performance the whole era received was the duet she did with Christina on the voice. And that was at the start of December.
The album, even without promo or even a proper single out or a music video, continued selling trough January and February.
GUY was released too damn late. By April the album was almost completely dead. Even so, it still got a nice boost due to the release of the music video, but because the song later on failed to make any sort of commercial impact, album sales felt short again.

If you're using the Mediatraffic figure, they announced ARTPOP at 1,95M in March 2015, not April 2014 ( https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...99303286810530).
