Did he become a vampire?

Episode was kind of a non-event but i'm glad they clocked Kai's ass and he can't move

Because vampire blood couldn't cure cancer, or temporary cure it, then the cancer come back. And that's how Mama Caroline will die

Then the younger twin will have to perform the ritual, kill each others. They want to kill him in the ritual so Alaric's girlfriend will be alive, the twins won't have to kill each other.
