This weekend, I was talking to some people who are also fans of Madonna and know the 'narrative'
One of them really did not like Rebel Heart and felt it was super scattered and lacked focus and whatnot. I told him that I've met lot of stans who want very badly to anoint Rebel Heart as That Album for the 2010s and I'm like "...we still have a few more years people, let's just hang on."
I explained to him that Like A Prayer was that for the 80s and Confessions was that for the 00s and I said Ray Of Light was that for the 90s but part of me always wants to argue that Erotica could just as easily have earned the spot. It's simply the matter of public acclaim that hoisted Ray Of Light higher.
The drags would be so real 
when this base hardly ever reached the lower half of page 1 not to mention the bottom of page 2 where I found it this morning. 
I've done it only once: TAB Silky Soul Mix > album version (which was already a 10/10 song in my book but which is now an all-time mrmikefave thanks to that beauteous remix).
