My opinion on the lyrics was swayed towards disliking them yesterday by some posts here, but I am reading them again and loving them. They're not that cheesy in my opinion. Just some parts.
This was my worry.
I personally don't like reading negative opinions because I do take it into consideration.

Exactly, people need to worry/overreact less. I'm sure the production will be and the lyrics won't matter to the public that much in the end anyway. I think it was a bad idea to release the full lyrics, they always look silly on paper. Besides, if you don't like this track, then there's a whole album to look forward to, I'm sure not all of the songs are preachy and about "loving yourself".
I still think gaga is goin to do a ballad before she starts born this way. i jus hope this song will show case her vocal's to the max i want bodies to drop from there seats they are soo amazed by her performance..

For me atleast, half of the fun is the performances, fashion, interviews and music videos as well. Music isn't everything.
