Yeah. Should have went Roar > Unconditionally > Legendary Lovers > Dark Horse > Walking On Air

Legendary Lovers would have been big but not big enough to kill Unconditionally like Dark Horse did.

Unconditionally didnt do any wrong to the era. The album stayed top 10 during its run.

Unconditionally is a fantastic song that I believe would have done so much better if it wasn't for the Dark Horse slayage that happened. It still managed to sell over 1 million in the US despite many people (I assume) thinking Dark Horse was the proper single at the time.
