Well, it's not like Gotye tried to do anything after the success of "Somebody." He's kinda old, too. Lorde is young (maybe a bit too young). I think her label will be more willing to push her and force her to be a big star.

They did actually. His label pushed really hard for STIUTK, his follow-up single, and his album. Laughably, fun. were the ones who ended up having a follow-up hit and moving decent album numbers.

This era is not going to be about "2003ney" or "2001ney" coming back. A NEW Britney is coming. One that we've never seen before. I'm stoked.

P.S., FF was not a bad album.. it's a solid pop record. It was just bad for Britney's expectations.
