Radio 1 usually adds a song when it starts getting a lot of recognition in the States, or due to impending hype. It should add it tomorrow or next week, due to the hype of the EMAs.
They've already spun it twice so it's not like they don't know it's her next single.

Yeah, but playlisting it is different from playing it. They may have played it, but they haven't playlisted it yet because it isn't 'current' right now. It isn't officially released yet. They don't want to jump on it too early. Radio 1 are weird like that.

The official release isn't even until Nov 21. so we'd better hope it's added before then
A lot of stations go by the officially announced dates, though, which would mean the 15th. Besides, a lot of stations had already made their adds before that announcement.

It makes me think of Judas or BTW when they were released to radio before adds after all, but back then the adds date was nearly irrelevant if not completely irrelevant because of the radio drop from Interscope prior.

Never, Alejandro was a huge hit in Europe and Alejandro is the reason why GaGa is the biggest american pop star in Latin America/Spain, Monster is a basic and generic song that deserves her spot as an album track!

I think Interscope meant (in that tweet) the first batch of stations adding it yesterday.
