When she was killing it with Scooter was when he actually paid attention to her career because JB was at the tail end of destroying his career with drugs/the law/racism and so Scooter scooted him out of the public eye for some rebranding to make him viable again. Now that Justin's career is in good shape he didn't give a **** about Ari or Focus when he was instead pimping out Purpose and it's singles.
