well i just finished mine. I had a 15 page paper on the south korean prostitution industry, an 8 page paper on South Korea democratization, and 2 oral exams and a final in my japanese language class all in the same week. I almost died.

the only paper I had was a 10 page paper on LGBT civil rights movement, then just multiple choice exams for the rest

white people are the beauty standard in southeast asia. East asia? not so much. While it is true asian people want white skin, its not because of white people. its because in history, white skin meant you were wealthy enough to stay inside away from the sun rather than get dark from working in the fields. Granted there are some east asians that love white men but a lot of people (from my own experience) would prefer to date within their race and dont want to date foreigners.

TLDR: there are some east asians that like white people, but most dont care. However southeast asians and asians in the western world worship white people.
