I think the general consensus amongst DWUW single supporters is that this is too good an opportunity to pass up and pray "Venus" is as good or better. This is exactly what Gaga needs right now and the reception so far proves that.

After spinning this a few times, the only thing I can really make note of is that I think it would work a lot better if she toned those vocals down. I know y'all were living for the Mariah teas last night when it came out but I seriously think that if the vocals were serving more sensuality and were slower then this would actually be a great song.

But it is what it is and it is a nice track but forgettable and loud noise for the most part. I'm glad she's slaying tho!

except she is serving some of the best vocals of her career and has received critical acclaim for it...
