Besides, this is still an improvement! Great results in my opinion.

Expecting 70-100k was always a bit too optimistic considering the circumstances (yes including promo).

I was expecting 80k, especially with all the promotion and hype/shade here on atrl from certain other stan bases. I was thinking they'd show out and buy the album. I still think she'll push 75k first week, but yeah. Not too surprised since her singles (I'm Out aside) havent really been selling, I figured it would be harder for her to sell a whole album. Hopefully her label doesn't give up on the album and continues to push singles. If so at the worst, she'll be a singles artist.

However, Ciara should still be proud of the album and what it has done for her. She's more poppin' now that she has been since 2009. "I'm Out" seems like it's going to at least be a top 20/15 hit and w/ the help of Nicki and all this promo, it'll go gold.

She can still team up with someone and go on a cute tour w/o relying on all of her old hits, so that's another win for her and the fans. I will say this though, some of the #CSquad members were talking super reckless the past few days... and now look. Y'all might want to keep things cute until the first week sales come next era.

Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream opened with 71k and has sold 425k.
Keyshia Cole's Woman to Woman was predicted to sell 65k but sold 97k.

Basically, first week sales and these predictions mean nothing. Anything could happen. As long she keeps promoting the album and releases the right singles, this album can go far and get certified.

She's going to pull enough numbers. People tend to do better than predictions based on ONE day sales anyways. Anything can happen in the next few days.

I think the singles can keep the sales of the album consistent. It's all how they handle them.
