Hey guys, I have a question. Is there a reason Avril seems to be so popular in Asia? From my understanding their markets tend to be pretty geared toward domestic rather than foreign artists, so it was just something that makes me curious since I've never really followed her.
Avril is super huge in Japan. Her sales in Japan are simply impressive and you know, Japan is the second biggest market in the world. She's also popular in South Korea , China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore... She's huge here

I think it's UMS that made her so huge in Asia. Most Asian fans fell in love with her after listening to MHE and Nobody's home.
