She's unstoppable and DESERVES to win. I think she's better than Derrick, personally.

Cuz she's actually a fighter too and had an amazing social game. Derrick was just behind the scenes, Vanessa was actually on the block and was always in danger and everything. Plus she won 4 HOHs and 3 POVs.

She better evict John, and then it better be Vanessa vs. Liz for the final HOH then Vanessa wins and evicts little crybaby Steve.

You can't say she's better than Derrick because Derrick only played behind the scenes when the reason Derrick was never on the block or in danger is because he made sure none of the houseguests were ever targeting him. The only reason Vanessa has had to fight to get out of bad situations is because of how sloppy her game was. And those HOHs and POVs are the product of a longer season with more competitions due to the BotB.

I like Vanessa more personally but Derrick is the better player.

I think the reason Derrick managed to play like that was more down to the bloody idiots he was playing with. Cody, Caleb, Frankie, Victoria and Christine.....i mean that says it all really.

Vanessa has had smart people playing with her and has had to overcome much more than Derrick did because the rest of the cast at least had some smart people.

Me personally, I think that the best BB players have to keep themselves out of bad situations and Derrick always did that no matter how "dumb" the rest of his cast was. Vanessa could have kept herself under the radar and played like Derrick if she wanted to and I think she would still be at the final 3 but she wasn't able to do that because of how how paranoid and messy her game has been since the third or fourth week.

I'm happy she's been the way she has been throughout the season because it's been more entertaining but I don't think much of her as a player honestly. She'd be a pretty middle of the road winner for me.

You say "Vanessa could have kept herself under the radar and played like Derrick if she wanted to" and then go on to say "But she wasn't able to do that". So, which is it? She played the way she has because she wanted to, or because she wasn't able to play the other way?

I definitely think Vanessa is a much better player. To be able to play as aggressively and brilliantly as she has and to make final 3 is much harder and requires more skill than sitting back and getting everyone else to do what you want - especially when she can get people to throw final 4 POV for her.

I'm sad to see John go, especially since it's because Steve supposedly screwed up his answer in the HOH tiebreaker and because Steve threw the veto, but he really doesn't deserve the game despite showing some strategic ability late on. Come thru queen Vanessa to claim what's rightfully yours. I'd say Steve winning final HOH is her only obstacle now.

Derrick being the only hg to never been nominated is an amazing feat but I still prefer players that can save themselves when their backs against the wall for that reason I put Vanessa ahead of Derrick only if she wins.

Im still annoyed with some of the moves Vanessa made: evicting Julia over Liz, not nominating the showmance off the bat & only being forced to evict Austin because John won POV with all of that I'd still prefer if she won.

Currently she's tied with Drew, Janelle, Hayden, Rachel, Ian, Aaryn & Caleb.
