I kind of said it several times. And there's nothing to analyze...the lyrics are just there. I may understand the purpose, but I don't understand why it was written the way it was.

Of course. The lyrics are controversial, raising the anticipation & discussion. She knows how to get people talking.

Is there a way you would have liked the song to be written? You continuosly state your dissaproval, yet unlike Nicole or Jewfro for example, you fail to specify what you would have liked to hear. You seem to complaining for the sport of it.

Its not just a song about being proud of being Hispanic. Just like hows its not a song only being proud about being gay, straight, disabled, etc. Its about being proud about every part that encompasses you and makes you who you are.

Well, for instance...

There was a poll created about Born This Way: http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=110306.

Essentially, it's split 50/50. Now, if this poll was created before the lyrics were leaked, and asked, "Is Born This Way going to smash?" it would be split more like 90/10. There's backlash with those lyrics and some hype. Not that the song won't do well (as long as it has KILLER production), but it seems that although the "critics" are praising the record (most before even having heard the song), they aren't the ones that matter... the public does. And if ATRL is any reflection or considered a small cross-section of the general public... it would tell us that it may very well have a mixed reaction. She may have been better off just not releasing the lyrics to build hype and, instead, just performed at the Grammy's or waited to the song's official release.
