It does make sense if Bethany is Ali's twin which is why Mrs. D wanted to protect her if she was the one who tried to kill Ali. Wasn't Ali's twin in the books mentally ill too?
Remember Alison’s Story?: About how these two twin girls would fight over their doll(s) and one day, one of the twins grabbed a knife and stabbed their sister in the back with it. Then the parents came home and had her sent to Radley? AND THE OTHER SISTER COULD STILL BE ALIVE. AKA UBER A?
This could be Bethany’s story. Whether she was the patient or the victim we don’t know yet. We don’t know if this even has merit but it’s possible. And Alison could have been the doll they were fighting over.
How could this obsession have started? Well, CeCe and Alison would always pretend to be each other and remember that one time CeCe went to Radley pretending to be Alison? Well, It’s possible that Alison/CeCe could have been making frequent trips there.
But where did Alison get this story from? Straight from the horses mouth or from Toby’s Mom. She was a patient there as well. Bethany and Marion could have had some interaction.
But what does this have to do with Jessica? That’s a good question.

I died a bit at Mona's badly edited video but other than that, everything was flawless!
I can totally see Alison becoming a bad ass bitch again, Hannah becoming fat again, Emily falling for alison again and Spencer becoming her biggest enemy Let's not about Aria
I watched the first 3 eps and like, it's not BAD. At least they're moving forward finally with the whole "A is dead" thing (although we know that's not true), clearning Cece away, and bringing Ali back for good.
And I'm really happy Mona's being an antagonist again (though her "team" was absolutely stupid) and that Melissa and Jason are back (can't wait to see what Melissa's up to! Hopefully Aria doesn't accidentally kill Jason after suspecting him as the next A!)
Some parts are just so bad though. Shana falling off a 3 foot stage and plummeting to her death... Aria's mourning over her (thanks Lucy for more horrid crying), the new swimming girl (I thought they couldn't have a worse love interest for Emily than Paige), the inevitable reconciliation between Aria and Ezra, Toby's existence... Ugh. I have to fast forward all the "romance" scenes cuz I hate Toby, Ezra and Paige so much.
Thank god for Ali though! I'm really interested to see who they eventually pair her up with. I'm thinking... Holbrook?
Being a little nitpicky here but I'm pretty sure Shanna fell from the stage to the 'Pit' where the orchestra/band play underneath the actual stage. Pretty sure it's more than a metre (had to google what 3 feet was). Someone correct me if I'm wrong though, as I was also initially confused at how Shanna could die from like a trip
Episode 100 proves why this is still the show I stan for.
That said I hope they kill off Caleb, he is so useless and broody, word has it they have even given him a storyline about his new "issues". And is everyone in rosewood a lesbian?
but other than that, everything was flawless!
