A Girl on the Train has so much potential to be Gone Girl 2.0 but the producer and director ruined that movie. The novel was so good. They should have been more selective in choosing whom to direct the movie
The Girl On the Train felt so CHEAP compared to the classic Gone Girl. I enjoyed the book though.
Some of the editing/director's choices were atrocious, I can't understand why Tate Taylor decided to go in that direction (trashy Lifetime movie-esque) for the movie when this easily could've been another Gone Girl.
