A Nightmare on Elm Street ('84)

It's really a shame that you have to put the year next to the title of most horror movies that have been released in the last 30 years due to remakes.

Anyway, this'll always be my second favorite horror film.

I have had a few days off so I caught up on a lot of movies that i've been wanting to see:

The Help - Amazing. It had everything, drama, comedy + great acting and plot. Overall one of the best movies i've seen this last year.

50/50 - Great movie, i'd recommend everyone to check it out! Joseph Gordon-Levitt did an amazing acting job. Prepare the tissues though.

Tanner Hall - It was OK I guess. Nothing special. Watchable if you don't have anything else to see.

One Day - Beautiful movie, kind of a "wake-up call". Again, bring out the tissues.

Friends With Benefits - Funnier than expected! I love JT but his acting is cringeworthy - his ass made up for it though No, but it was a fun movie!

What's Your Number? - Fun movie, I liked it a lot. Not much else to say...lol

Abduction - Heard a lot of bad things about it, but it was actually OK. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, and Taylor Lautner's acting is almost as bad as Justin Timberlake's but the plot was exciting.

I watched 'The Help' and 'What's Your number ? ' yesterday.

I really liked both.
The Help was sad , funny all at the same time. Great acting , nice plot.

Even though What's Your Number ? was like most romantic comedies and had a kinda predictable plot. I still found it very funny and sweet. But Chris Evans being in the movie also helped a lot. lol

Kill Theory (2009)

Whilst celebrating a graduation at a secluded vacation home, a group of college students find themselves targeted by a sadistic killer who forces them to play a deadly game of killing one another in order to survive.


I'm watching this movie right now. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a complete rip off of "Saw". College fratboys with their girlfriends go vacationing, party all night long until they find out there is a killer, the killer wants to play a game with them - they have until 6 AM to kill each other, and the final person gets to leave alive. If everyone is alive by 6 AM, everyone dies. I'm still watching it right now but just wanted to give a quick summary. The good thing however is that even though it's an obvious rip off of Saw, there is character development so you kind of have someone to root for, oppose to Saw where they will die in less than 2 minutes. Oh, and that guy from Mean Girls is in it and is hilarious. Not the best movie, but it's one of those enjoyable movies to watch if you're home and have nothing to do.
